T-Ball! Go Red Team!!!

Payton's T-Ball games have started! He is on the Red Team! It's so fun to watch all the little kids play. Payton has some how decided he is a little bit cocky, and walks up to bat with a little swagger and tells his team mates to "Watch and Learn". Oh boys are so fun! I honestly think it's all from his new favorite movie called "Sandlot". Not sure if its the best kid movie but he sure does like it.

He still really likes to slide and peel-out to make dust, but not as much as he did last year. He likes to slide on the base to try to be cool.

This is Payton and his friend Easton playing in the dirt. They got a little bored out on 3rd base and they discovered that their mitts make great shovels. They played in the dirt for a while until the ball would come and ALL the kids in the field would chase the ball each time. It was so funny.

I am not sure if it's cause of the movie or what but Payton would rather run the ball into Haidyn than throw it. He would run to get it every time, and the run it to whoever was on 1st base. He really is good at throwing but I guess that's his new thing.

The boys were so excited to play and they are so funny together that were goofing around and it almost looked like they were doing a victory dance in the 1st inning. Payton is on a team that mostly has girls, but he really likes his team.

Easter!!!

Payton, Johnny and Shaynee with the Easter Presents my mom got them. The sucker is a cookie. Payton loved it!

We went to my mom's on Fri and colored eggs with my Niece Shaynee, and my Nephew Johnny. They each colored 12 eggs!

Christmas

Christmas Eve we go to Jeff and Brenda's to have dinner and open presents. Every year Payton get's a new pair of jammies.

Payton has really started to like Mater from cars. He got a Mater the Greater race track from Jeff and Brenda. He was overly excited to open all his presents.

The Digger Landon got Payton, it moves and is very noisy. Notice he couldn't even take a picture without making it make a sound.
Setting up the Mater the Greater track. I am usually the only one who will grab the instructions and actually read them Payton and his Shake N' Go track Tyler and I got him. It was a surprise to Tyler cause it has over 20 feet of track.

This is the Rescue Squad Mater he kept asking Santa for. I am glad he got it. He was so excited to get it, he opened it and said "It's Perfect."
The 3 in1 Smart Sport. He kept on moving his face behind his presents. Payton also got his very own camera that is drop and water proof. I hope this will help my camera last a little bit longer.
Thomas Family Christmas Day at Grandma Karen's. We got there every year for breakfast and a get together.Tyler has 2 cousins that are twins, Payton hasn't ever really seen them side by side or payed attention. Well on Christmas Day he was talking and stop in the middle of his sentence and said " Wait a second.... you two have matching faces." It was the funniest thing ever. Then he finished his conversation. Payton got a ton of tractors from my mom on Christmas. I was glad that she bought a case to put them in.

Snow!!!!

Payton was trying to teach Landon how to make a snow angel. He told him to move his arms and his legs. The snow was really deep.

Tyler pushed Payton and Landon down the 1st hill. Payton was scared at 1st but then he began to like it a lot.

I decided to go down it. When you got to the bottom you got a lot of snow in your face. But it was a lot of fun.

Payton was more excited for Tyler's Birthday then he was. Payton wanted
Tyler to hurry and open his present. I am very big into birthdays. I made
tacos and Angel food cake. His Favorites.

We got Tyler a Mr. Buddy Heater for him to use Ice Fishing.
Jeff, Brenda and Landon got Tyler a 4 man Ice Cube Ice fishing tent.
If you can't tell Tyler likes to go Ice Fishing.Payton wanted to unwrap all the presents but I told him it wasn't Christmas and
mad so I let him open his ornament.

Halloween

This is Payton opening the package that his costume came in. He wanted to be a Fire Fighter Chief. After he opened it he had to go to the fridge and make sure the costume he got matched the one on the fridge.

Telluride

Last month we went down to Cortez Colorado to visit Tyler's Aunt and Uncle. It was a lot of fun we went to Telluride and rode the Gondola down into the town. It was a little scary because they went fast as you went through the buildings.

This how far down you had to ride in it. the 2nd time. You got on one for a hill and then got on another for this long one.

Camping!

This year we went camping a little later than normal. But it was a lot of fun. I am not the best camper but I will go. On the 4 Wheeler rides we decided to take Tia our dog. As you can see in this picture she would chase us the whole way.

After chasing the 4 wheeler for a while Jeff was nice and let her ride with him. What a spoiled dog!

I told him he had to go in the bushes and he looked at me like I was crazy. We tried it and he looked at me and said " Maybe he doesn't like the bushes maybe he only likes the trailer toilet." I asked him who he was and he said it was his poo. We laughed so hard and when we got back to the trailer he went to the bathroom and came out and said " Oh Yeah He likes the trailer toilet!" That made camping fun!

By the last day Jeff was feeling a little dirty and Payton was right there to lend a hand in washing his hair. It got a little crazy there towards the end.

This picture is mt absolute favorite! I love it and am going to blow it up for my house. This is 3 generations of hunters. Even though Payton is only 4 he is getting really good at making an elk call sound. He had some moo cows going crazy in camp.

Tyler's Surgery

On Thursday July 2nd Tyler had to have sinus surgery. For an update it went
really well they got out all the growths and got the inflamed turbinates taken care.
It kinda looks like the took a rotter rooter and stuck it in his nose but he is doing
a lot better. Thanks for everyone thinking of him!

Fun at the Aquatic Center!

Today we took Payton and his cousin Kaitlyn to the Aquatic Center in Castle Dale. It has a lot of fun things for the kids. It doesn't get more than 2' deep in the play area, its warm, and the ground has a rubber thing to make it softer. We were there for 2 hrs and it was fun!

Air Show

For Payton's Birthday Tyler and I took him up to Roy for the Air Show up at Hill Air Force Base. It was a lot of fun. When you first get there you have to go through a metal detector and they look through their purse. You have to do a lot of walking to get from your car to where you sit.

This Picture is inside the cargo area of a B52 plane. It was huge. There was a lot of planes you could walk in or go into the cock pit.

When we got there Payton wanted a pretzel and a purple snow cone. Even though it was really hot and now I have a cool farmer tan it was worth it.

This monster truck was right when you walked in the gate. Payton was so excited he wanted to drive it.

The best show of the day was the Thunderbirds. There are 7 of them and they do alot of fun tricks.
The pilots are from all over the U.S.

Payton's 4th Birthday!

Payton's Party was a Lightening McQueen Party. The cake was made by one of Jennie's friends up North. It turned out so cute! Thanks Jen! Payton is just growing so big so fast.

New Car

We decided to go and get a new car. We first stopped at Stockton to Malone Honda. I will never ever go back there. It was ridiculous. When we first pulled in there was like 20 guys standing there waiting for you. We happen to get a rookie salesman that didn't listen at all. I told him no older than an 05 and NO minivans. He showed us a 92 rodeo and asked if I wanted to look at the Mini Vans. It was the worst experience ever. So then we went to Tim Dahle Infinity in Murray, talk about amazing customer service. They treated us so good, gave us drinks, anything we wanted. So we got a Kia Sorento. We just love it! And would recommend them to anyone!

So for the past month and a half Payton has been begging Tyler and I to buy him a puppy. Well we finally did. This might be a bad thing but for now she is just great. She is a Chocolate Lab mixed with a German Short Hair. He named her Tia!

Payton had to have a tub since he got really dirty planting seeds. Well Tia decided to jump in with him.

Today the Ice Cream Van came through the subdivision and Payton and his friend Kayson got these huge watermelon ones.

Easter Fun!

We like to color a lot of eggs! It's a tradition to color at least 5 dozen eggs. We dont eat them all, we go out and SMASH them! We had Payton, Tyler, myself, Landon, Brenda and Courtney over to help with the project.

Payton's favorite color was........... GREEN!
We had more green eggs then any other color. It was the closest color to him.

The Easter Bunny stopped by and brought Payton some fun stuff.
He got a l0t of treats, moon sand, a book, movies, flip-flops, clothes,a tonka truck, and a mitt for T-Ball.

Every year we order a Mrs. Cavanoughs Easter egg. You can fill it with your choice of fudge, caramel, and a bunch of others. It's the first thing on Easter morning that Tyler and Payton eat.

Payton had over 100 eggs to find. (We kindof over did it) On the sidewalk is "Easter Bunny" poop and Carrots he nibbled on. It was so funny to watch Paytons reaction to the poop. Thanks to Brenda's great idea.

Halfway done with hunting eggs Payton was getting tired and told Pappa and Dino to pick up the eggs.

Yeah we had a lot of Eggs!

In the biggest egg the Bunny left Payton a note to find his present he left at Jeff and Brenda's. The note said to look in the back of Dino's truck.

In the basket was some treats, bubbles, shorts, an Air Rocket, and the best thing a metal bat! (Although a little dangerous)

Friday we went to my moms and had an egg hunt with his cousin Shaynee. They got a lot of eggs there too.
No wonder he was tired!

Chuck E Cheese

Saturday the guys (Tyler, Jeff, and Landon) decided to go hiking. Well Im not the hiking kind so Brenda and I decided to take Payton on a shopping trip to Orem and to go to Chuck E Cheese. It was so much fun. We were there for about 2 hours and Payton was so tired afterwards.

This was a game that you shoot water into a hole and if you were the winner you would get a lot of tickets. The trick is to play it by yourself and then you always win. Payton was a little short so he had to sit on my lap.

Payton doesnt like sharks so this was fun because you hit them when they popped up. He almost had the highest score. He got to a 30 and the highest was 32.

He is really good at shooting hoops. He shoots left handed but he made 16pts.

He doesn't take after me driving, he is CRAZY! Again he was too short to reach the pedals.

He liked throwing the balls. Sometimes they went in the other sides but he had fun with it.

This was a little ride that was in the car that looks like the electric ones. He kept pushing on the gas to go FASTER!

This was the best toy of them all. Payton rode this at least 10 times. It would "pop a wheelie" as he says it. It rose up taller than me. He LOVED the Big Truck! All in all we were there 2 hours and used 57 tokens but he had so much fun and it was well worth it!

Girls Night Out!

This morning when I got out of the shower Payton wanted me to come look at his Dino. I was kind of nervous and I had good reason

to be. He had taken the marker out of my drawer and drew this lovely picture of his Dino. He has been missing him like crazy so of course I couldn't get made. It was too cute! Luckily it was a dry-erase marker and came right off.

1: Fridge

I'm glad I got into a early Spring cleaning. Otherwise my

fridge was looking pretty bad. My freezer looks empty

but I have a bigger freezer in the garage I use. Tyler gets mad cause my egg carton holder is full of Scentsy bars not eggs!

2: Closet

We have our own closets, mine the floor is completely covered in a foot of shoes, and my clothes are packed in tight. Sorry you can only see half, my doors are weird!

3: Favorite Room

My favorite room is my living room. We really don't use it unless someone comes over so it stays clean. I love that!

4: Bathroom

This is our main bathroom. I just painted the cupboards

this summer because white in a bathroom was not a good idea. Potty training was easy because of the Peter Potty ( on the left side) It's a stand up urinal for boys. This was well worth it.

5: Bedroom

I got this bed from my sister. Its really big and tall.

Payton can hardly climb in it, well I have a hard time too. I use the

side log as a step stool!

6: Kitchen Sink

For Christmas I got a new dishwasher so I never have dishes in my sink. My old one took 3 hours to run and didn't even dry my dishes. I love having a new one!

7: Favorite Shoes

These are my favorite shoes. I love my Pumas for work,

my flats for going shopping and my Doc Martens are my everyday

shoes. I hate tying shoes so I love slip ons.

8: What your Kids are doing

Today I was watching my friends kids. It goes Payton, Traxton and Braylea.They have alot of fun. Its so nice that they play so well together.

Bowling

This year our family decided to go bowling. It was a fun time.

I have really been slacking on my blogging. Thanks for the reminder Whit! This year when it snowed it was a fun year. Even though we didn't get that much Payton played in it more and had so much fun. He was really trying to be a big helper by helping me shovel the driveway. I was glad to have his help. It made it that much more fun!

When Payton was shoveling he would push the snow with his shovel and then pack it around and in the Jeep's tires. It was really funny. He was so proud that he was helping.

He was having the most fun trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue. But there was a small problem or in this case big problem. If the snowflakes touched his eye he would turn from happy to fully mad and yell "Its on my eye... It's on my EYE!!!" It was so funny, you would just be shoveling away and about every five minutes one would get him!

Christmas

Opening Presents on Christmas Day. Payton loves to golf. This gator golf gives him practice.

Tools are a boys best friend. This is a tool bench he got from Santa. He loves to fix things and try to take them apart. He is just like his dad!

Brown Family Christmas Party!

This year for the Christmas party we went to Midway and stayed in a condo. It was really fun. Payton is making magic dust. It's oats and glitter to sprinkle on the grass on Christmas Eve so the reindeer will eat the oats and Santa can see the glitter.

This is Payton and Aunt Debbie at the party. In the cup are

these little stretchy frogs we got at Wal-Mart for a dollar

and he played with them the whole night.

It's funny how the smallest things make them happy!

At the party we make ginger bread houses.

Payton was having fun helping Aunt Debbie and Bruce

with their house. It had a major problem and kept falling over. Payton may have helped a little too much!

There was a indoor pool at the condo. Payton was so excited

to go swimming. At first he would only put his feet in. Then when he realized he could float he was loving it. I almost had to drag him out!

He was so excited to splash the water. It was such

a fun weekend. Now Payton wants to take

swimming lessons. :)

Santa

Our local City had a Christmas Party where they sang Christmas carols, ate doughnuts and saw Santa.

Payton was so excited that he was getting a little inpatient cause he wanted Santa to bring him the right stuff.

He told Santa he wanted a Four-Wheeler and drove his hand all over Santa to show him what he wants it to do.

This was the first time in four Christmas' that Payton liked Santa. He now understands that Santa brings the toys. He wanted to make sure to tell him what he wanted.

Trick-Or-Treat!!!

For trick-or-treating this year we went to Clawson for their hay ride. You climb on the trailer and it takes you through the whole town. You can get alot of candy really fast. I like it cause I am done by 7:00 and can hand out my candy.

This is at one of the houses in Clawson. The lady was dressed up as a witch and everything!

Weekend

This weekend we decided to go up to Duck Fork and go fishing since everyone was home. We only caught one fish. It was freezing cold but we had fun with it. It is so pretty on the mountain.

This bridge was by our fishing spot. If there is water you can bet Payton will be playing in it. Even though it was so cold he had to put his fingers in the water.
